If you are in receipt of benefits under SGB II or III, you can apply for further training or retraining with your provider. Your provider will test your personal eligibility as well as your physical and mental aptitude. If the funding is approved, you will receive a so-called education voucher, which you can use to register for a course with us.
As a rule, the education voucher has to be redeemed within 3 months for the educational goal it was issued for. If you have been approved, then in addition to the cost of the course itself your provider will also cover travel and/or child care costs. During the training or retraining, your cost-of-living benefits will remain the same.
